With the support of the Tasmanian government, the Tourism Industry Council Tasmanian (TICT) is supporting tourism businesses to reducing their emissions through targeted programs.

Who is this for?
Tasmanian Quality Tourism Accredited Businesses (Level 2 Sustainable).
Overview
Eligible tourism operators can be matched with one of 2 programs over 2023 and 2024:
Program 1: Net Zero Activation (for smaller operators)
- a 5-stage program to help businesses develop an emissions reduction plan and build habit in key action areas to progress towards net zero
- 12 months access to a digital tools that can be used to estimate your business's emissions.
Program 2: Net Zero Advanced (for larger or more complex operators)
- guides first-time businesses through the process of carbon accounting
- access to specialist software and free training for accountants/bookkeepers with no carbon accounting experience.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, businesses must be a Quality Tourism Accredited Business (Level 2 Sustainable), and:
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for tax purposes
- are operating in Tasmania in the tourism and hospitality sector.
