Events and information sessions

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources runs information sessions to discuss registration and reporting requirements for the following programs:

• Early Stage Venture Capital Limited Partnerships
• Venture Capital Limited Partnerships
• Pooled Development Funds.

Fund managers, lawyers and other venture capital professionals who would like to build or refresh their knowledge of the program requirements are encouraged to attend these information sessions.

Information sessions will cover a variety of topics related to the venture capital tax concession programs, including:

• general knowledge and benefits
• highlights of industry trends as seen through reporting data
• applying for registration
• requirements for foreign investment
• reporting and notification requirements
• on-going registration requirements, such as reporting
• opportunities to raise other questions with the Venture Capital Team.

The venture capital programs are jointly administered by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and representatives will be in attendance at some of the information sessions.
