What is the Modern Manufacturing Initiative Collaboration Stream?

The Collaboration Stream is the largest grant program under the $1.3 billion Modern Manufacturing Initiative. It will co-fund large projects that will transform the manufacturing industry by increasing collaboration and building scale in the National Manufacturing Priority areas. Grants will encourage businesses to work together, and with Australian researchers.

Collaboration Stream grants between $20 million and $200 million will be available to support projects that feature collaboration or that create an environment that fosters collaboration. Grants will provide up to one third of eligible project costs.
