The Supply Chain Resilience Initiative (SCRI) is now open for applications.

SCRI grants will help Australian businesses build or scale a capability to address a supply chain vulnerability for a critical product. The product categories for this round of funding are:

  • medicines
  • agricultural production chemicals.

Applicants should use the Sovereign Manufacturing Capability Plan to guide funding applications. The plan sets out the types of activities that could be funded under the SCRI to address vulnerabilities for identified critical products or inputs.

Eligible businesses can receive matched funding grants of between $50,000 and $2 million, with a total of $50 million available in this grants round.

The Supply Chain Resilience Initiative will be open until 12 August 2021. Read the Supply Chain Resilience Initiative eligibility and merit criteria guidelines for more information.

SCRI is a key part of the $1.5 billion Modern Manufacturing Strategy and whole-of-government efforts to strengthen supply chain resilience.
