The rolling stock capability index is a digital, interactive publication. It maps businesses across Australia that manufacture, refurbish and supply rolling stock components in the rail sector.

This includes over 32 components, such as cables and wiring, semiconductors, lighting, or glass.

The Office of the National Rail Industry Coordination (ONRIC) developed this using data from the Industry Capability Network (ICN).

The index will improve transparency in the sector. As well as show opportunities to grow your business or team up and collaborate.

You can search it by:

  • product type 
  • state location
  • service type
  • company size.

The data used in the index will continue to be updated and refined.
