Primary production enterprises within the Eyre Peninsula and SA Arid Lands.

Overview

This program has been created to enable impacted primary producers, grower groups and farming system groups involved in invasive species management, operating within the Cleve, Franklin Harbour, Gawler Ranges and Kimba districts to manage biosecurity risks arising from the major rainfall event.

Funding can be used to improve biosecurity outcomes for eligible primary production enterprises, including but not limited to:

  • rehabilitation costs
  • baiting programs
  • fencing and infrastructure
  • monitoring technology
  • training and licensing
  • weed control equipment.

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • be a primary producer or a farmer organisation, operating within an eligible area
  • hold an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be registered for goods and services tax (GST) or be a not-for-profit organisation.
