The Flagship Event Fund provides event organisers with grants to help them with the costs of marketing and advertising an existing event in regional NSW.

What do you get?

Annual grants of $20,000 or triennial grants of $30,000.

Who is this for?

Event organisers holding an established event in regional NSW.


The Flagship Event Fund supports the promotion and marketing of events which attract overnight visitations to regional NSW. Events must have been running for more than 2 years, and funding must be spent on marketing initiatives that encourage visitations from outside the region.

There are 2 streams of funding:

  • annual grants of $20,000 (excl.GST)
  • triennial grants of $30,000 (excl. GST) guaranteed for 3 years.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, the event organiser must:

  • own the rights to the event
  • be financially solvent
  • have an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be running an event located in one of the 7 regional Destination Networks geographical areas in NSW.
