One-off grant between $700 and $5,000.

TAS multicultural small businesses.

Overview

Funding can be used to obtain business advice or support from a suitably qualified service provider to get help with:

  • financial planning
  • risk management
  • business planning
  • marketing activities
  • diversification or innovation planning
  • other activities, including training fees, conference tickets, installing and upgrading software licences.

Check if you can apply

To be eligible, you must:

  • be registered for tax purposes in Australia, with an Australian business number (ABN)
  • be a small business with no more than 19 FTE employees
  • demonstrate that the business is currently operating and located in Tasmania
  • be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or have the right visa to run a business in Australia and be able to demonstrate you arrived in Australia in the last 10 years
  • demonstrate an annual sales turnover of at $40,000 in the 2022-23 or 2023-24 financial year
  • be able to make the required cash co-contribution.
