Who is this for?
Businesses and organisation undertaking a regional tourism project in Tasmania.
Overview
Loans are available for projects that stimulate regional tourism, including the improvement and development of:
- visitor accommodation
- visitor experiences
- visitor attractions
- hospitality venues
- facilities that will attract events to Tasmania
- worker accommodation by tourism and/or hospitality operators.
Loans are available between $100,000 and $3 million. The interest rate is highly concessional, for the first 3 years, with a commercial rate to apply for the remaining term of up to 2 years
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, your business must:
- hold an active Australian business number (ABN)
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- be undertaking a project that promotes growth in regional tourism and encourages regional dispersal outside Hobart CBD
- have the ability to service the loan
- have a projected annual turnover in excess of $75,000.
