NewAccess for Small Business Owners
Beyond Blue runs the NewAccess for Small Business Owners program – a free and confidential one-on-one mental health coaching program. It helps small business owners manage the pressures that come with running a business.
Over 6 sessions, you’ll work with a mental health coach with a small business background. They’ll help you overcome difficult issues by teaching you practical skills to manage stress.

Ahead for Business is a digital hub to support the wellbeing of small business owners.
Through the digital hub you can access tailored resources, connect to the online community and track your mental health and wellbeing journey.

Your doctor is a great resource to give you support and answer questions. They can give you treatment, a mental health treatment plan or refer you to other mental health services.

Support for people experiencing family or domestic violence
1800RESPECT is the national counselling, information and support service for domestic, family and sexual violence.
If you or someone you know is experiencing (or at risk of experiencing) domestic, family or sexual violence, contact 1800RESPECT by:
- calling 1800 737 732
- texting 0458 737 732
- starting an online chat or video call on the 1800RESPECT website.
1800RESPECT also has advice on how to support staff experiencing family or domestic violence.
Help with financial stress
The Small Business Debt Helpline is a dedicated small business financial counselling service. It offers free, independent and confidential support to small businesses struggling with their business finances.
You can chat online with a financial counsellor or talk over the phone (call 1800 413 828) between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday AEST/AEDT.
