- nurture and mentor the next generation of health and medical research innovators in Australia
- develop ventures to become attractive to the Biomedical Translation Fund
This opportunity aimed to assist in developing ventures that ultimately address health problems of national significance through disease :
- prevention
- cures
- treatments
The grant provided $22.3 million over 4 years:
- $10.4 million in 2018-19
- $5.3 million in 2019-20
- $5.3 million in 2020-21
- $1.3 million in 2021-22
