Gulf Savannah Development, in partnership with Savannah Way and Tropical Tablelands Tourism will provide additional low cost small business advisory services to tourism operators and intenders in the Gulf Savannah and Atherton Tablelands regions. A small business officer and a team of qualified specialist consultants qualified across a range of fields including legal, financial, HR, IT and cultural issues, based within northern Queensland and very familiar with the issues confronting the Gulf and Atherton Tablelands regions, will travel regularly throughout the six shires of the Gulf, and the two shires of the Atherton Tablelands to deliver tailored business advisory services. The service provided will be designed specifically to address issues encountered by the tourism small businesses in the region and will be delivered mainly by face to face, telephone and email consultations. |

The Business Centre Pilbara will provide additional low cost small business advisory services across the Pilbara and extending to the Ningaloo-Exmouth region of WA. A Business Advisor will travel regularly throughout the region to deliver tailored business advisory services to all tourism small businesses and tourism small business intenders, with a special focus on indigenous tourism start-up business intenders. Services will be delivered using culturally appropriate service delivery mechanisms and through a range of face-to-face or virtual/online meetings, one on one tailored business advisory services and small group training; and through facilitating networks and introductions to local mentors and other business advisory services and specialist professionals. |
