The Industry 4.0 Testlabs for Australia pilot program supports the setup of testlabs at 6 Australian universities. The aim of the testlabs is to provide innovation support in priority industry growth sectors. They will build skills for businesses to make the most of technological opportunities from Industry 4.0.

This grant assists with the set up of Industry 4.0 testlabs at 6 Australian universities:

  • Swinburne University of Technology
  • University of Queensland
  • University of South Australia
  • University of Tasmania
  • University of Technology Sydney
  • University of Western Australia

It will provide innovation support for SMEs in priority industry growth sectors, through access to an Industry 4.0 testlab.

The maximum grant amount is up to $1,000,000 and can cover up to 50% of eligible project costs.

Projects must be completed by 31 December 2019.
