Businesses in the Wheatbelt region of WA.
Overview
Funding is available to help businesses enhance their capacity, capability and competitiveness to participate as suppliers of products, services and works to Western Australian state or local government agencies, the Australian government and the private sector.
Eligible funding uses include:
- planning and business advice
- improvements to internal business infrastructure/systems
- training costs
- purchasing or modifying plant, equipment and machinery
- specialised motor vehicles e.g. bobcats, forklifts, cherry pickers, back hoes
- specialised computer software and hardware.
Funding of up to $20,000 (excluding GST) is available to cover 50% of eligible costs.
Check if you can apply
To be eligible, you must:
- be registered for goods and services tax (GST)
- have an Australian business number (ABN)
- be a for-profit organisation or business
- have your principal place of business in one of the LGAs of the Wheatbelt region of WA
- have been operating, and continue to operate in that region for at least 12 months prior to and following application submission date
- employ less than 200 people.
